Description

Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – Nights | 13-Week Contract

Location: Manchester Memorial Hospital – Manchester, CT
Department: Pulmonary Lab
Shift: Nights | 40 Hours/Week (4x8s)

Job Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments.
Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and assist with ventilator weaning.
Perform airway management procedures and respond to respiratory emergencies.
Conduct respiratory assessments and accurately document patient care in Epic.
Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and disease management.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.

Schedule

40 hours per week
Rotating Night Schedule:
- Two (2) 8-hour night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Two (2) 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Active Connecticut Respiratory Therapist License
Current BLS Certification
Epic experience preferred
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
