HOT JOB: MED-SURG / MOTHER-BABY RN – 3x12 NIGHTS (LOWVILLE, NY)

I am fast-tracking applications for an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse with a versatile background. This is a 13-week night-shift contract at an essential acute care community facility in Lowville, New York, featuring an immediate priority review pipeline.

POSITION QUICK-FACTS

• Start Date: 08/24/2026 (13 Weeks)
• Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 hours weekly
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
• Holiday Obligation: Holiday coverage is required and will be integrated into the unit rotation.
• Bed Size: 150–500 bed facility framework.

THE CLINICAL MATRIX

• The Environment: A community-centered hospital setting requiring a strong sense of independence and flexible clinical skills.
• Dual-Specialty Scope: This unit blends traditional Adult Medical-Surgical care with a Mother/Baby postpartum sub-specialty.
• Core Patient Load: Manage standard acute medical-surgical patients (post-op recoveries, chronic disease management, infectious processes) while remaining competent to assist with stable postpartum mothers and newborn couplet care.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care experience in a Medical-Surgical setting. Experience or high comfort level with Mother/Baby or postpartum nursing is highly preferred given the unit's sub-specialty footprint.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State (NYS) RN license must be active and in-hand at the time of submission. Profiles without an active NY license will be instantly rejected.
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications are required at submittal.
