Cath Lab Technician (RCIS/ARRT) – Travel Contract

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support a busy interventional cardiology department. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, scrubbing cases, maintaining sterile technique, and monitoring patients throughout procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience
• Active ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings

• Monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Equipment setup and operation
• Maintaining sterile field and sterile technique
• Room circulating responsibilities
• Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for cardiac cases.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
• Monitor patients and promptly identify cardiac rhythm changes.
• Follow infection prevention protocols, isolation precautions, and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
