Description

Travel Cath Lab RN / RCIS – | Sierra Vista, AZ

Position Highlights

Department: Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
On-Call: Required (12+ call days per schedule)
Bi-weekly Orientation

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
RCIS certification required
Scrub experience required
IR (Interventional Radiology) experience required

Required Certifications

RN License or RRT/RCIS (per facility requirements)
RCIS Required for Tech candidates

Must-Have Skills

Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiology procedures
Cath Lab scrub experience
IR procedures including:
- Vascular embolization
- Port placements
- Vascular stenting
- Nephrostomy tube placement

Preferred Experience

Manifold setup
IVUS
FFR
IVL
Impella
IABP
Pre/Post procedure recovery
RCIS credential

Additional Responsibilities

Cath Lab staff also assist with:

Stress Testing
TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)
Tilt Table Testing
Occasional IR coverage

Equipment & Charting

EHR: Cerner
Imaging: GE Fluoroscopy
Transitioning to CHANGE Hemodynamics system

Patient Population

Adult
Primarily Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and interventional cardiac patients
