Rutledge Tower PACU is designed with a total of 15 recovery bays that are split amongst PACU A (primary) and PACU B (secondary). Our Registered Nurses care for a diverse adult inpatient and outpatient population and are both BLS and ACLS certified. Our nurses work closely with our Holding unit, ORs, surgical providers, and anesthesia partners to deliver professional and exceptional care for our patients and their families. RT PACU also communicates often with our Main PACU partners as some of our patients are admitted post operatively, or may require admission to the Main Surgical Observation Unit for recovery. Our unit is open Monday through Friday and closed on major holidays. Our unit is both magnet designated and Joint Commission accredited.

Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
