Description

CT/Radiology/Xray

Fri-Sun 7a-7p

Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality X-Ray and CT scans according to physician orders and established department protocols.

Patient Care: Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, address patient concerns, and ensure physical and mental comfort. Contrast Administration: Start IV lines and administer contrast media (dyes) to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues. Radiation Safety: Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles, utilizing shielding and maintaining proper distance to minimize exposure. Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily quality control (QC) checks, maintain a sterile/clean environment, and report any equipment malfunctions. Documentation: Record patient history, document scan parameters, and input examination data into EMR and PACS systems.

Unit Description: a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care and a Level IV Trauma Center. We deliver care for life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Siemens DR Imaging Systems, Siemens Definition Edge CT System9 dedicated emergency department beds and 4 monitored haul beds, for a total of 13 emergency treatmentThe hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Burnet, Texas, and features a Level IV Trauma Center
