Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an Auto-Offer travel assignment at Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello Hospital. This is a fast-paced hospital environment requiring candidates with recent acute care experience and strong proficiency in both EPIC and Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
 

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months is required.
• Must have experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems within the last 5 years.
• EPIC and Cerner experience must have been gained while working as a staff employee or successfully completing a travel contract.
• No Request for Time Off (RTO) will be accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Administer IV contrast safely while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform venipuncture and IV insertion as needed.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality.
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and infection control practices.
• Accurately document procedures using EPIC and Cerner EMR systems.
• Provide compassionate patient care while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Required Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist – RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT(R)(ARRT).
• Current California Radiologic Technologist License.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association or approved equivalent).
• Hospital Fire & Life Safety (HLFS) certification (facility requirement).

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Advanced CT Certification (preferred in California).
• California Fluoroscopy Permit (required if operating fluoroscopy equipment).
• Venipuncture Certification.
• Experience in a high-volume acute care or trauma hospital setting.
