Job Opportunity: RN NICU
Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Job Description
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal ICU (NICU) experience required.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio varies by patient acuity:
- ICU status: 1:1 or 1:2
- Stepdown/non-ICU: 1:3
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience).
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- PALS issued by American Heart Association.
- NRP issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Driver's License.

- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
- Onboarding includes several mandatory assessments and documentation submissions prior to and during assignment.
- Optional items include unit-specific checklist, badge photo, and post-assignment evaluations.
