Location: Glenwood Springs, CO

Position Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)

Hours: Full-Time (36 hours/week)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (Includes weekend rotation)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in picturesque Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have robust critical care experience, particularly with high-acuity Day 0 post-operative cardiac surgery patients. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Glenwood Springs offers world-class outdoor recreation, hot springs, and stunning mountain views during your off time!

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized, direct nursing care to high-acuity cardiovascular ICU patients, including immediate recovery (Day 0 CVICU care).
Monitor and interpret hemodynamic lines, cardiac rhythms, and complex mechanical support equipment.
Administer and titrate vasoactive drips safely and precisely.
Floating Requirement: Must be willing and flexible to float to Acute Care (Med-Surg) based on facility needs.
Collaborate seamlessly with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and interprofessional care teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Licenses & Certifications:

RN License: Active Colorado RN License (or active Compact/NLC State License) in good standing.
Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Required Experience:

3+ years of RN Critical Care / ICU experience.
Strong CVICU skills required, with verified experience managing Day 0 CVICU patients.
