Assignment Duration: August 23, 2026 – November 30, 2026

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursdsay, Friday, Saturday 9:30am-7:30pm- 40hr/wk

Position Summary

CVS Health is seeking compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurses to support its retail vaccination initiative. This patient-facing role is responsible for administering a variety of vaccines, educating patients, and ensuring safe, high-quality immunization services in a retail healthcare setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer immunizations including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended vaccines.
  • Perform medication administration in accordance with clinical guidelines and company protocols.
  • Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions following administration.
  • Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, potential side effects, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of vaccinations and patient encounters.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting positive health outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Adapt to changing patient volumes and operational needs in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Maintain compliance with all CVS Health clinical policies and procedures. 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice or applicable compact state.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization and direct patient care.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to administer vaccines confidently and safely.
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • High School Diploma or GED (verification required). 

 

Preferred Skills

  • Previous immunization or vaccination clinic experience.
  • Strong medication administration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
