Description
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse
The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role includes circulating during surgeries, maintaining a sterile environment, preparing and managing surgical instruments and equipment, and collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year of recent Operating Room experience preferred
- Experience with circulating duties across multiple surgical specialties
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic technique, and patient safety standards
Assignment Details: 8-week contract | 36 hours per week | Day and Evening shifts available | Start Date: August 13, 2026.
