Description
Job Title: Travel CT / X-Ray Technologist - Weekend Nights (Georgetown Community Hospital)
Job Description: Take on an exciting 15-week travel assignment at Georgetown Community Hospital, a 75-bed acute care Duke LifePoint facility located in the heart of central Kentucky (Georgetown, KY)! We are seeking an experienced CT / X-Ray Technologist for weekend night shifts (Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). In this role, you will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging for patient populations ranging from infants to geriatrics utilizing GE 16/64-slice CT equipment and MedHost EHR. Apply today!
Contract Details:
- Contract Length: 15 weeks (Weekly Monday orientations available).
- Schedule: Weekend Nights (Fri–Sun, 19:00 to 07:00). 36 guaranteed hours/week.
- On-Call: Required (every 8th weekend / 1 holiday; 30-minute callback window).
- Dress Code: Black scrubs only.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of combined X-Ray and CT experience. Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently.
- Certifications & Licensure: Active AHA BLS, ARRT (R) registry, and active Kentucky State Radiation License required at submittal.
- Travel Compliance: Strictly enforces a 60-mile travel radius rule (candidates living within 60 miles are restricted to local rates).

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
