Travel Neuro RN
š West Virginia
š§ Specialty: Neuro RN
ā° Shift: 12-hour Days or Nights
š
Contract: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- Strong Neuro RN experience required
- BLS & NIHSS (required at submission)
- ACLS preferred
- Recent Epic experience required
- Experience caring for stroke, seizures, post-op spine, DBS (Deep Brain Stimulators), neurological disorders, and G-tube patients
Assignment Highlights:
- 20-bed Neuro unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5ā6
- RT manages floor vents (vent experience not required)
- Telemetry available; monitor techs interpret strips
- Float primarily to other Neuro units if needed
- Holiday rotation required
- White and royal blue scrubs

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst Iāve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is okš„“ but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Donāt do it!
