Job Overview

• Location: Damariscotta, Maine
• Setting: Travel RN role
• Specialty: SCU/IMC
• Shift: 6a-6p or 6p-6a
• Weekly hours: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend minimum
• Call: None for core hours
• Float: Occasional float to MS

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Prior travel experience required
• Vasoactive drips experience
• Ventilators experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Preferred Experience

• ICU/SCU experience

Unit Details

• 8-bed unit
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1
• Common equipment includes ventilators, ceiling lifts, Plumb Pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and SCD boots
• Patient population includes SCU, IMC, MS, and rare swing patients
