Here are the details of the contract:
Job Title: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts
On-Call: One Shift per Week
Important:
- Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
- LRDP experience and Labor with Postpartum experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Active RN License in the state of practice
- BLS & ACLS required
- NRP required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring required
Unit Overview:
The Labor & Delivery unit provides care for women of childbearing age, including patients from 17 weeks gestation through delivery. The unit manages laboring patients, scheduled procedures (including C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage cases), as well as OB triage. Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections. Nurses utilize Cerner, Fetalink, and fetal monitoring equipment to deliver high-quality maternal and newborn care.
