❤️ Travel CVOR RN | Level I Trauma Center | 26-Week Contract | Iowa

📅 Contract Length: 26 Weeks
⏰ Schedule: 4 x 10-Hour Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday with rotating day off)
☎️ Call: Up to 2 overnight call shifts/week + 1 weekend/month
💰 On-Call Pay: $9/hour | Call Back: 1.5x (2-hour minimum)

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN License or Compact License
• BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 24 months of recent CVOR/Operating Room experience
• Strong experience with:
  • Cardiac
  • Vascular
  • Thoracic
  • General OR circulating
• Open Heart scrubbing experience required
• Epic experience within the last 3 years
• Level II Trauma experience required (Level I preferred)
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment within the last 15 months
• Candidates must be comfortable with approximately 80% Cardiac / 20% General OR cases

Orientation

Comprehensive CVOR orientation includes:

• General OR
• Vascular
• Cardiac circulating
• Heart scrubbing
• Progressive call training before independent cardiac call

Call Schedule

• Up to 2 overnight call shifts per week
• 1 weekend call per month
• Weekend call begins Friday evening through Monday morning
• Holiday rotation required

Important Submission Requirements

• 50-mile local radius rule (local candidates accepted with a 10% bill rate reduction)
• No former UPH FTE or PRN employees within the past 12 months
• Driver's license required
• Resume showing 24 months of recent CVOR experience
• Current OR skills checklist
• Iowa/Compact RN license at submission
• Professional reference preferred
