General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

  • Number of Beds - Cath lab 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath / EP suites
  • Number of Staff – 16
  • Type of staff:
    • Day Shift - day shift 6:30 to 5:30
    • Night Shift - rotating on call
  • Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient. Cath Lab procedural area
  • Type of equipment – Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
  • EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • Minimum 6 months’ current Cath Lab Tech experience
  • BLS
  • ARRT (R)
  • RCIS or RCES
  • If they have the RCIS or RCES, they must be willing and able to apply for register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before they start working

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  • ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
  • Scrubbing and monitoring skills and experience
  • Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

  • LHC, RHC, EP ablations
  • Pacers, ICD’s, Cardioversions, TEE’s Tilt Table Tests.
  • EP /Structural Heart / Monitoring skills and Right Heart monitoring.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

  • Call schedule is a rotating schedule two weekends and 9-12 days of call in a 6 week period
