First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist in the Bronx, New York. Operating within the diagnostic radiology department at a major acute care regional hospital, this high-paying opportunity offers flexible shift configurations including a weekend double schedule or traditional night shifts. - Weekly Gross: $2,455.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,975.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr
đź“… SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Available Shift Configurations:
- Option 1 (Weekend Doubles): 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM (15-hour doubles on Saturday & Sunday for 30 hours/week).
- Option 2 (Night Shift): 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Monday–Friday night rotation; weekends per department needs).
- Guaranteed Hours: 30 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Completely free from standard mandatory on-call standby commitments.
- Clinical Scope & Responsibilities: Performs specialized diagnostic computed tomography procedures. Key responsibilities include reviewing clinical requisitions, patient preparation and safety positioning, manual equipment parameter adjustments, administering IV contrast media with power injectors, monitoring for adverse reactions, assisting radiologists with diagnostic procedures, ALARA radiation protection compliance, PACS image verification, and RIS study indexing.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical CT Technologist experience is strictly required, including hands-on experience with relevant scanner equipment.
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (military training programs accepted).
- Licensure & Credentials:
- Active New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiology Technician Diagnostic License with Injection certification is strictly required.
- ARRT post-primary certification in Computed Tomography—ARRT (CT)—is required.
- Certifications Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
