Description
Travel RN – Key Requirements
- ✅ Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
- 🎓 Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ASN) required
- 🩺 Active RN license required
- ❤️ BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- 👥 Experience supervising and delegating to licensed and unlicensed staff
- 📋 Strong assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
- 🤝 Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- 📚 Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
- 🌟 Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- 👩🏫 Mentor and precept staff while promoting teamwork and professional development

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
