CT Technologist

Location: Salmon, Idaho
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: 4 day, 10-hour shifts; Friday–Sunday; 40 hours guaranteed
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, this role performs CT and X-ray examinations, including patient preparation, image acquisition, protocol coordination, and patient care before, during, and after exams.

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in Computed Tomography (CT) or X-ray
• Venipuncture experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray procedures according to protocol
• Produce diagnostic-quality images across neonatal to geriatric patients
• Review patient charts for missing clinical information or consent
• Screen patients for implants, allergies, and other relevant factors
• Coordinate scan protocols with the Radiologist
• Transfer and position patients for examination
• Maintain sterile technique and prevent cross-contamination
• Support STAT and urgent imaging needs while prioritizing workflow
