Travel RN Contract Summary
Position: LTC Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Alaska
Facility: Long-Term Care Facility
Start: ASAP
Contract: 13 or 26 weeks — traveler’s choice
Shift: 4×12 variable — Days 07:00–19:30 or Nights 19:00–07:30
Option: 3×12 variable may also be available
Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Call-Off: Up to 1 × 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
Local Candidates: ❌ No — permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
Travel Experience: Required
Alaska RN License: Must be active/in hand at submission
First-Time Travelers: ❌ Not accepted
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year RN experience
- Recent LTC experience — required
- Previous travel RN experience — required
- BLS — required
- Alaska RN license in hand
- Experience managing approximately 1:20 patient ratios
- Charting experience required
- Oxygen administration
- Peripheral IV/line care
- Isolation precautions/PPE
