Description

Job Title: RN - Outpatient Clinic
Unit: OB GYN, L&D
Location: Edmonds, WA 98026
Shift: Day 3x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)
Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: 26 weeks
Job Type: full time - Contract

 

Note: Local and Traveler both are accepted for this job.

 

Position Summary:

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with GYN and Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience in an outpatient clinic setting. Candidate should have at least 1 year of recent nursing experience in GYN, L&D, or women’s health. Nurses primarilyperform phone triage and in-clinic appointments such as injections, teaching, blood pressure checks, wound care, suture removal, newborn checks, etc. RN will be expected to triage Pediatric, OB, and adult patients.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and assessments for patients in an outpatient GYN clinic.
  • Assist with gynecological exams, procedures, and treatments as directed by providers.
  • Utilize L&D experience to support prenatal, postpartum, and women’s health patients.
  • Administer medications, collect specimens, monitor patients, and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
  • Educate patients, coordinate follow-up care, and collaborate with providers to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • WA or Compact State RN License
  • BLS certified through AHA
  • AWHONN FHM (Preferred)
  • COVID card
