RN Endoscopy / GI Lab

Setting: Acute care

Shift: 8-hour days, variable start times

Contract: 13 weeks (91 days)

Guaranteed: 40 hours/week

BSN: Required

License: Must have license to submit

Schedule & Call

• Monday–Friday: 8-hour shifts, start between 7:00 AM–10:00 AM, based on case schedule.
• Call: Required
  • M–F: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Sat/Sun: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Required call: 2 weekday call shifts/week
• Weekend: 2 weekend call days/month
• Weekend requirement: Call only
• Holidays: Call only
• EOW: Required

🩺 Unit / Procedures

• 3 procedure rooms/bays
• Approximately 15–30 procedures/day
• Common procedures:
  • ERCP
  • EGD
  • PEG
  • General GI scopes
  • Occasional GI procedures in OR
  • Some bronchoscopies with RT support

📋 Requirements

RN:

• BLS
• ACLS
• Procedural sedation competency test
• BSN
• Active license at submission

GI Tech:

• BLS
• GI certification preferred
