Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Location

Utica, New York

Schedule

Night shift
36 hours per week
6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Block scheduling is not guaranteed

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Driver's License
Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
Experience with IABP
Experience with Ventriculostomy
Experience with ICP monitoring
Experience with TTM (Artic Sun)
Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

4-5 years of ICU experience
Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
Heart experience

Unit Details

42 beds total
Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER, unless holding
Navy scrubs

Common Patient Population

Neuro/Med: strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI
CTICU: cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA
Surg/Trauma: trauma, major post-op surgery
