Description
12H Nights, 7p-7a.
Floating is required - travelers float as needed; will float to Family Care unit (Mother/Baby) with an assignment, possibly to the NICU or PICU as a set of helping hands.
Weekend requirement is three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
Call is required - travelers must pick up one extra shift per 4-week schedule.
EPIC experience is required.
AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, NRP, AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring (ECG tests for fetal monitor if no certification), and FL or Compact license are required. Prior travel is NOT required.
A minimum of 2 years of specialty experience, prefer an RN with LDRP or mother/baby experience.
Strong ECG interpretation skills & immediate newborn care experience required of all potential candidates.
RNs will circulate and recover C-sections.
Orientation every Monday.
EPIC training is required during the second half of the day at TMH orientation. At this time, they will have the opportunity to test out of the training. If they do not pass, they will be required to complete the full training before being released to their unit.
Trauma level 2, teaching facility
Facility has 772 beds, unit has 19 labor rooms, 12 antepartum rooms, 4 recovery rooms, 8 triage rooms, 3 OR suites, + / - 4000 deliveries
Nurse Patient Ratio by shift: 2:1
Certifications: ACLS,NRP,AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Equivalency),BLS
