POSITION: Interventional Radiology Tech
SCHEDULING & CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS

? Years of Experience Required: 2 years
? Accept 1st Time Travelers: Yes
? Locals Accepted: Yes, Locals accepted at the same rate.
? Hours - 37.5hr/wk
? Weekend Requirement: Refer to On Call Requirement
? On Call Requirement: Yes; Call every 3rd weekend
? Charting: Epic required
? RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Priority given to submits with a screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests. No requests will be approved after offer
? Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
? Holiday Requirement: Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays, per unit needs

? Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception.

REQUIRED SKILLS

? Settings: Interventional Radiology; Pediatric IR; Hybrid OR; Special Procedures
? Procedural/Equipment: Fluoroscopy; 3D imaging; equipment setup; prep access site; scrub?maintain sterile field; PACS; maintain equipment and inventory; stock supplies; isolation precautions/PPE; use of Rapid Response/Code teams
? Angio/Endovascular: Visceral and vascular angiography (adrenal, mesenteric, pelvic, renal, pulmonary, selective visceral, aortography, inferior/superior vena cavagram, percutaneous hepatic angiography); angioplasty; stent and endograft placement; embolization (including radioembolization and chemoembolization); thrombolysis/thrombectomy; IVC filter placement and removal; venous and central access (including ports, PICC, and line care/maintenance)
? IR Procedures: Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of the liver; liver biopsy; paracentesis; thoracentesis; chest tube and gastrostomy tube placement; esophageal stent placement; ERCP; cholecystostomy; catheter/drain exchange; cystoscopy
? Cardiac/Advanced: Diagnostic catheterizations (adult/pediatric/neonatal); hemodynamic monitoring; cardiac stent placement; Impella insertion; scrub procedures
