SNF PTA Opportunity – Great Barrington, MA
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility travel assignment in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working with an adult and geriatric rehab population, helping patients regain mobility, strength, balance, and independence following hospitalization, surgery, illness, or injury.
Position Highlights

- Hands-on gait, balance, strengthening, and mobility training
- Work closely with a Physical Therapist
- Collaborative interdisciplinary rehab team
Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Massachusetts PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients
- SNF or geriatric rehab experience preferred
What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Carry out established plans of care
- Provide gait, balance, strengthening, transfer, and mobility training
- Help patients improve functional mobility and independence
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Collaborate with OT, COTA, SLP, nursing, and the rehab team
- Complete timely clinical documentation
