Description
The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized computed tomography (CT) scans to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The technologist is responsible for safely preparing and positioning patients, operating CT equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, and ensuring accurate and timely imaging results.
The role requires independent judgment, strong technical skills, patient assessment, and effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team. The technologist must follow all applicable safety, privacy, regulatory, and facility policies.
Requirements
- 1+ year CT Technologist experience – Required
- BLS through AHA – Required
- California CRT License – Required
- California Venipuncture License – Required
