12 hr Nights, Blocked Weekender Schedule
Position
- Role: Traveling Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular
- Location: Near Springfield, Illinois
- Shift: One night position currently available
- Illinois RN license: Required
- Certifications: ACLS + BLS/BCLS required
- Open-heart experience: Preferred
Patient population
- Post-PCI patients
- Post-CABG/bypass patients
- CHF patients
Must-have / preferred experience
- Level II trauma experience or higher
- Experience pulling sheaths preferred
- CRRT experience highly preferred
- Ability to titrate drips — required
- RNs must interpret their own cardiac strips
Unit support
- Intensivist/hospitalist: In-house 24/7 (physician + NP)
- Respiratory therapy: Assigned to ICU/PCU 24/7
- Full respiratory equipment available, including vents, CPAP and BiPAP
- Telemetry: Dedicated monitor tech
- Monitor system: Draeger
- RNs are still responsible for interpreting strips
