Description

Required Skills & Experience

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and radiological positioning of the human body.
Understanding of CT software and hardware mechanical attributes.
Thorough knowledge of PACS systems.
Experience with GE CT equipment — required.
Experience with Epic EMR — required.
Experience with Fuji PACS — required.
At least 2 years of CT experience required; 5 years preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy Emergency Department (ED) and maintain workflow.
Must be willing to work in dual modalities (X-Ray & CT).
Maintain required CEU credits.
Must obtain ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire.
Must obtain American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Six months of CT experience preferred; however, 2+ years is required for this position.
Knowledge of Epic and hospital HIS/RIS systems.

Certifications & Licenses

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
BLS – American Heart Association (AHA)

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Monday–Friday
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
5×8-hour shifts
Holidays required
No on-call requirement
