Description

RN – Labor & Delivery | Massachusetts (MA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Monitor maternal and fetal status and identify changes in condition.
Assist physicians and healthcare teams during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
Perform fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate patterns.
Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients as needed.
Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process.
Document patient care accurately in the EMR.

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts RN license.
Experience as an Labor & Delivery RN.
BLS certification required.
ACLS and NRP certifications may be required/preferred.
Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shifts.
Strong knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, delivery, and postpartum care.
Experience with emergency obstetric situations preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
