ICU RN – Float Position | Massachusetts

Facility: Baystate Medical Center
Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours/week; 48-hour contracts may be accommodated

Position Overview

Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for a float position. Candidates will float between:

• Medical ICU / HVCC
• Surgical ICU (SICU)
• Intermediate Care (IMC)

The Medical ICU and Neuro Critical Care Unit has 32 beds across two floors.

Patient Population / Experience Required

Experience with:

• Sepsis
• ESRD and AKI
• CRRT/CVVH
• Post-cardiac arrest care
• Respiratory failure
• Medical ICU patients
• Neuro Critical Care patients

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Level I ICU experience, or 2 years of ICU experience preferred
• MICU experience preferred
• Strong ICU background required
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS – AHA
• NIHSS
• Candidates must live outside a 90-mile radius of the facility
• New graduates or nurses with only one year of experience as a new grad may not be considered
