Somersworth / Dover, New Hampshire

Home Health OT Opportunity – Somersworth/Dover, NH

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week Home Health assignment covering the Somersworth and Dover, New Hampshire area.

This is an especially nice Home Health schedule — Monday through Friday, 8–5, with no weekend rotation and no on-call requirements. You'll provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes while independently managing your daily schedule and territory.

Qualifications Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current New Hampshire OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Current BLS certification
  • Home Health experience preferred
  • HCHB experience preferred
  • OASIS experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong evaluation, documentation, and time-management skills
  • Ability to independently manage a Home Health caseload and territory

What You'll Do

  • Complete OT evaluations and reassessments in patients' homes
  • Develop individualized plans of care
  • Address ADLs, functional mobility, strength, endurance, cognition, coordination, and safety
  • Perform home-safety assessments
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies
  • Provide patient and caregiver education
  • Collaborate with PT, nursing, SLP, physicians, and other members of the Home Health team
  • Complete clinical documentation using HCHB
  • Maintain approximately 30 productivity points per week

Territory & Travel

The position covers the Somersworth and Dover area with approximately 60–75 miles of travel per week.

The clinician reports to the Somersworth office, and specific routing and territory expectations can be discussed during the interview.

This is a great New England location, especially heading into fall. You'll be close to the New Hampshire and southern Maine coast, while Portsmouth is nearby for restaurants, shopping, waterfront activities, and entertainment.

For weekends, you've got easy access to Portsmouth, York, Ogunquit, Portland, the White Mountains, and the Lakes Region — plenty to explore during a 13-week assignment.
