RN Operating Room - CV

Job Details

Location: Paducah, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Hours: 40 per week
Call: 1–2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Operating Room experience within the last year
CVOR experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
Provide and document nursing care, treatments, and procedures
Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
Educate patients and families
Collaborate with the care team and delegate appropriately
Participate in quality improvement activities and patient safety monitoring
