Job Overview
- Location: Louisville, Kentucky
- Employment type: Clinical–Nursing
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Variable, 6:30–5:00
- Schedule expectations: 1 weekend shift per month, 2 call shifts per month, and holiday shifts if they fall within the contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the unit, including rounds, assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, education, care coordination, and treatment planning
- Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Delegate and oversee patient care tasks appropriately
- Support discharge planning and teaching
- Participate in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
