Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care (IMCU/PCU)

Schedule: 36 hrs/week
Shift: 3x12s
Local & Travel: Both accepted | 75-mile radius
Experience: 2+ years IMCU/PCU experience
Travel Experience: Required
License: Active NY RN license; all RN licenses verified through Nursys
Required: AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
EMR: EPIC experience required
Floating: Required
On-Call: No
Scrubs: Navy Blue
OT: Daily after 24 hrs / Weekly after 48 hrs
Block scheduling: Not guaranteed

Unit Details

64-bed IMCU, including 15 designated Neuro beds
Adult patients, ages 18+
Common cases: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown & post-op
Equipment: Temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo
Chronic ventilator patients; unable-to-wean vents with RT support

Ideal candidate: Experienced IMCU/PCU RN with strong cardiac/neuro/stepdown skills, EPIC experience, required certifications, and prior travel experience.
