Nursing Administrator / House Supervisor – Full Job Details

Unit: Nursing Administrator / House Supervisor
Division: Nursing
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour nights, Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
License to Submit: Yes
EMR: Cerner

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
COVID-19 Vaccine

Required Experience

Previous House Supervisor experience is required
Experience managing hospital-wide staffing

Job Responsibilities

Manage staffing across the entire hospital
Assign and manage hospital beds
Work with Charge Nurses regarding staffing and patient flow
Respond to patient complaints and concerns
Handle staffing situations and operational issues
Contact administration when escalation is required
Coordinate with departments during off-hours
Call in Cath Lab and OR teams when needed
Provide overall nursing supervision during the night shift

Key Candidate Must-Haves

Must have:

House Supervisor experience
Active license
BLS
ACLS
COVID vaccine
Ability to work 6 PM–6 AM
Ability to work every other weekend
Experience overseeing hospital-wide staffing and operations
