Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 13+ weeks

Hours: 36/week

Shifts: Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)

Pay: $2,614/week

Role Overview

Join us s an LDRP RN providing care across Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Mother-Baby, and Postpartum. This position is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable caring for mothers and newborns throughout the entire birthing process while supporting a small community hospital environment.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of both L&D and Mother/Baby/Postpartum experience
• Experience performing cervical exams
• Experience with Cytotec placement
• Experience managing Magnesium drips
• Newborn and preemie care following delivery or C-section
• Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) required
• Bonus experience: PALS, C-EFM, and OR experience

Requirements

• Current RN License
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Intermediate EFM (AWHONN)
• Current CPR certification if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray if applicable
• Current Health Certificate if required
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Additional Details

• True LDRP position covering Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby care
• Average of 40 deliveries per month
• 2 triage beds for labor evaluations, NSTs, and fluid management
• May float to Med Surg to assist staff, but will not take a full Med Surg assignment
• Charting systems: CPSI and GE Perinatal
• Client interview required
• Orientation consists of 1-3 unit shifts depending on experience
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Every shift includes support from experienced L&D staff and on-call coverage
