Description

Schedule

5x8s or 4x10s
Day shift, varying between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call
Approximately 10–14 call days per month
May be assigned to Cath Lab, EP, or Cath Holding
Travelers must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
Longer assignments through 01/09/2027 may be available

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years Cath Lab RN experience
Critical Care (ICU), Cardiac Care (CC), or ED experience required
Epic proficiency required — no exceptions
BLS and ACLS required
Active Virginia RN or Compact RN license in hand at submission
Must be comfortable with rotating call

Cath Lab Skills

Experience with:

Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
PCI / cardiac stent placement
Left and right heart catheterization
IABP placement/removal
Impella
Cardioversion
Sheath removal and monitoring
Vascular closure systems
Procedural sedation
ACT monitoring
12-lead EKG/ECG
Starting and maintaining IVs

EP experience is a plus, including pacemaker procedures and other electrophysiology services.
