Description
-Shift: 7a-730p
-Every other weekend
-Holidays as needed based on schedule
-EMR: Cerner
-Certs required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
-Patient Ratio: 1:4-6 depending on acuity
-Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 required, 3 preferred
-Will you accept a first-time traveler? no
-Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Trauma post-surgical, MVA, elective surgeries, Whipple s, chole s, GSW, blunt/penetrating trauma s, assaults, ATV, amputations
-Must have skills: Blood Admin, skeletal, bucks traction, drains, JP, Chest Tube management, wound dressings, wound vac management, wound care. Heparin gtt, high flow, stable bipap, Trach care required. There is no drip titration on this unit (if titration is ordered, patient will be transferred to ICU)
