Requirements
- 2+ years recent acute inpatient PCU experience
- Epic experience required
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Local Travelers
- Accepted with a reduced rate
Role
- Provide care to an assigned group of patients, including assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation
- Monitor and document patient response to interventions
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide patient/family education and discharge support
- Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff
- May mentor/precept staff
- Participate in quality, safety and evidence-based practice initiatives
