Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Overview
Performs diagnostic procedures involving the use of radioactive drugs to perform body function studies, organ imaging, and analyze biologic specimen, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.

- Shift: 3x12's or 4x10's available
- 2 years experience required.
- 3 Room Unit - seeing inpatient, outpatient and ER.
- 13-15 patients per day
- Required Skills: IV Starts, PACS
- Required Procedure Experience: Cardiac, Bone Scan, Liver/Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies, Tumor Localization, Myocardial
- Preferred Procedure Experience: Brain Scan, Renal Flow, SPECT
- Documentation: Cerner
- Equipment: Siemens preferred
- Certifications: BLS, NMTCB required; ARRT preferred
