Position: CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist
Schedule: Varied shifts, 8 hours per shift
Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekend: Required
Call: Not required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CT examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Assess and provide appropriate care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric populations.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Properly transfer images using PACS and teleradiology systems.
• Maintain accurate patient records, files, billing information, and imaging documentation.
• Ensure the security and integrity of patient medical information in accordance with HIPAA.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Monitor and maintain department supplies and inventory.
• May assist with CT-guided procedures for Interventional Radiology during day shifts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• GE Lightspeed CT
• Canon SP Prime

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)
• Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of CA.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• CT advanced certification: Required in Oregon and Hawaii; preferred in California.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred.
• California-specific requirements: Fluoroscopy license if operating fluoroscopy equipment and venipuncture certification if performing venipuncture to administer contrast.
• Hospital Fire & Life Safety (HLFS): Required.
