Description

*Schedule**
Nights - 12 Hour: 7 PM - 7 AM
36 and 48 hours per week available.
1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

**Assignment Details**
Contract Duration: 16 weeks.

**Requirements**
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the palliative/stroke unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities as required and receive relevant training.

**Compliance / Notes**
- Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
- Required to float to other units if needed.
- Must be willing to work at least one holiday per contract.
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
