Description

RRT – NICU

**Requirements:**
- Current WA license required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU; at least 1 year required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS or ENPC, CRT or RRT
- Experience with Bunnell Jet Ventilator highly preferred
- Proficiency in neonatal airway management and mechanical ventilation support
- Experience with ABG sampling/interpretation, weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Familiarity with NICU-specific care and neonatal intubation support
- Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide specialized respiratory care for neonates and infants in a Level III NICU
- Manage high-acuity respiratory needs for patients, including mechanical ventilation support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Perform assessments and interventions necessary for respiratory therapy in diverse patient populations

**Compliance / Notes:**
- Orientation listed as 40 hours; Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) noted as 0 hours 
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine information unknown
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day)
