Pay: $48-$50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours per week

Position Overview

PediaStaff is seeking two Special Education Teachers to join a supportive middle school team in the St. Paul, MN area for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position will primarily support 7th-grade students in a resource setting, with responsibilities including special education case management and some co-teaching in math.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related teaching field from an accredited institution
• Current Minnesota teaching license appropriate for the position
• Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS) license required
• Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) licensure/endorsement preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, accommodations, modifications, and special education services
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to middle school students receiving special education services
• Support 7th-grade resource programming
• Manage assigned student IEPs and special education caseload
• Participate in and help facilitate IEP meetings
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and student progress
• Accommodate, modify, and adapt lessons and curriculum based on individual student needs
• Participate in co-teaching for math instruction
• Create a structured and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Establish and communicate clear expectations for student behavior
• Utilize positive reinforcement and appropriate behavior-support strategies
• Assist with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
