🫀 What You'll Do

As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist, you'll be an essential member of the procedural team, providing technical expertise and hands-on support throughout cardiovascular procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical assistance during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Assist physicians with cardiac and vascular imaging.
  • Function as a scrub technologist, maintaining strict sterile technique.
  • Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment and monitor the control room during procedures.
  • Monitor and accurately document procedure images, events, and technical information.
  • Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Help patients and families understand procedures, expectations, and pre- and post-procedure care.
  • Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab for diagnostic and complex interventional procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory and ensure essential supplies are readily available.
  • Complete accurate procedure, progress, and discharge documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Recognize potential safety concerns and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and procedure-ready environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the entire cardiovascular care team.


🎯 What We're Looking For

We're looking for a skilled Cath Lab professional who brings technical confidence, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset to every procedure.

Required

  • Cath Lab experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong understanding of invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

  • 2+ years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience
  • Associate's degree
  • Experience supporting complex cardiovascular interventions


🏆 Required Credentials

Candidates must hold the applicable professional credentials for the position:

  • BLS – American Heart Association
  • ACLS – American Heart Association
  • Fluoroscopy Certification
  • One applicable cardiovascular/imaging credential, such as:
    • ARRT
    • RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
    • RCES
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist with cardiovascular-specific certification

Radiation monitoring badges must be supplied by the vendor.
