Key Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years acute care case management experience.
• Licensure: Active California RN license in hand at submission (no pending or temporary licenses).
• Certifications: BLS required.
• EHR: EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Vaccines: Flu vaccine required with no exemptions. COVID-19 vaccine not required.
• References: 2 references from supervisors or higher within the last 1 year (Charge RNs strictly not accepted).

Facility & Unit Details

• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
• Unit Metrics: Daily census: 255 | Rooms: 15 | Beds: 14.
• Caseload / Ratios: 15 visits per day (Day ratio 1:15; Weekend ratio 1:40).
• Support: Social Services and Transportation.
• Key Skills: Care coordination, discharge planning, plan of care, InterQual/Milliman criteria, utilization management, HIPAA, CMS, CPT/ICD-10 coding.

Scheduling & Time-Off Rules

• Floating / Call / Weekends: No floating, no call. Weekend coverage required.
• Scheduling Requests: None accommodated; zero flexibility for shift requests.
• Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum 2 weeks total allowed. No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment. Pre-approved time off capped at two.
