Job Description:

Position: Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Setting: Pediatric Hospital

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 7:30am-4:00pm
• May fluctuate to 8:00am-4:30pm
• 40 hours per week

Travel Pay Package:

• $3,627 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Local Pay Package:

• $2,600 per week total

Overview:

• Perform routine and complex echocardiography examinations
• Operate cardiac ultrasound and Doppler equipment to obtain diagnostic images
• Perform cardiac ultrasound exams on patients with normal cardiac anatomy and complex congenital heart disease
• Conduct examinations independently during diagnostic, pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of care
• Evaluate image quality and make adjustments to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Support patient care across multiple clinical settings including inpatient units, non-invasive labs, and satellite locations
• Work with pediatric cardiac patients in a highly specialized environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of pediatric Cardiac Sonographer experience required
• ARDMS Adult Echocardiography (AE) required
• ARDMS Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) required
• BLS required
• Philips equipment experience required
• Experience with congenital heart disease imaging required
• Ability to perform exams independently in a variety of patient care settings
