Job Description:

Position: CT Technologist

Location: Staten Island, New York

Setting: Level I Trauma Center / Teaching Hospital

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 11:00pm-7:00am
• Night shift
• 37.5 hours per week

Travel Pay Package:

• $4,124 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Overview:

• Perform all types of CT examinations including head, pelvis, trauma, cardiac CT, and CT angiograms
• Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and address patient concerns
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Work across a 700-bed health system spanning two campuses
• Gain experience in inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and mobile imaging settings
• Utilize GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Aquilion CT scanners
• Work in a busy Level I Trauma Center and teaching facility environment

• Any solid scrub color permitted; top and bottom must match
• No patterns, open-toed shoes, or excessive jewelry permitted
• HealthStream assigned on day one
• Two evaluations completed during the assignment

Requirements:

• Active NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required
• ARRT RT(R)(CT) required
• NYS Injection/IV Certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Experience performing trauma, cardiac CT, and CT angiography studies preferred
